Well, looks like I've finally joined the ranks of Barney Stinson and decided to start my own blog. I debated with myself for longer than probably necessary about whether or not to follow though with starting this blog. Questions started running through my head. Do I have anything worth blogging about? Will anyone read my blog? Will anyone enjoy my blog? Will I die a miserable old man in an apartment full of cats? You know, the usual. Then I finally realized that I don't really care if anyone else finds what I have to say important, relevant, worthwhile, etc. This blog is about me so I'm doing it!
Over the past few years I've been pretty busy. Lots of traveling, running, electronic music, beer, food, and other things that are equally good/bad for the average human being. I've had some interesting experiences (to say the least) that have resulted in some mildly entertaining stories. While this blog's primary focus will be on my running and my quest to become an ultramarathon runner, I will also use it to reveal other life experiences (past, present, and future) related to the above mentioned topics (and hopefully many others).
In summary, here's what you can expect from this blog as far as topics go:
So, if you read this blog and like it great. If not, oh well. I will likely enjoy putting my thoughts on virtual paper and in the end isn't that all that really matters?

In summary, here's what you can expect from this blog as far as topics go:
- Running
- The running portion of this blog will be eerily similar to the reporting style of Anton Krupicka because I really enjoy the way he reports his running. No sense in reinventing the wheel, right?
- Weekly, monthly, and yearly running workout summaries
- The occasional daily run summary (only if the run is good/bad enough to report on individually)
- Tentative races for the current year
- Race reports
- Traveling
- Upcoming vacations/weekend trips
- Past vacation updates/photos
- Travel stories (I have a pretty good backlog of these that I'm ready to write about)
- Concert and music festivals
- Beer/food
- Whatever the hell else I feel like writing about
So, if you read this blog and like it great. If not, oh well. I will likely enjoy putting my thoughts on virtual paper and in the end isn't that all that really matters?
