Didn't run at all the first week of July since I had just arrived in La Paz, Bolivia (elevation ~ 13,000 feet) and was getting acclimated to the altitude. Started running once I arrived in Cuzco, Peru since it was a lower elevation. Not very many miles this month, but more than half of the miles were run in the mountains with loads of vertical (hence the slower than normal pace). This included runs around the city of Cuzco, running the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, and running around the site of Machu Picchu. Still recovering from the calf injury as well. Nothing at all impressive about this month, but it was by far one of my favorite months of running ever due to all of the mountain running.
